Start Your Algae Farming Journey

Turn farming infrastructure into a new source of income

OxyHarvest is developing a new model of algae farming using closed-loop photobioreactors (PBRs). Farmers can cultivate high-value microalgae such as Chlorella and Spirulina in controlled systems, using significantly less land than conventional crops.

The algae biomass can be harvested, processed and sold into growing markets including nutrition, food, cosmetics, agriculture and bio-based products.

Why Algae Farming?

Traditional farming depends heavily on land, water and weather. Algae farming offers farmers an opportunity to add a new, high-value crop and income stream without requiring large areas of agricultural land.

Grow Chlorella. Grow Spirulina. Grow a New Income.

OxyHarvest is building a network of algae farmers who can produce quality microalgae biomass using our photobioreactor technology.

Our model is designed to bring together farmers, technology, biomass buyers and downstream industries.

Depending on the project, farmers may participate individually, through an FPO, cooperative or community-based farming model.

How It Works

1. Register your interest
Tell us about yourself, your location and your farming setup.

2. We assess your opportunity
Our team discusses your available land, infrastructure, water and project requirements.

3. Install the algae farming system
OxyHarvest provides the technology and cultivation support required for the project.

4. Grow and harvest algae
The photobioreactor provides a controlled environment for microalgae cultivation.

5. Sell your biomass
Depending on the project structure, OxyHarvest can facilitate biomass purchase and connect production with downstream applications.

Who Can Become an Algae Farmer?

You may be a good fit for an OxyHarvest algae farming project if you are:

An individual farmer
Looking to add a new source of income to your existing farm.

A progressive farmer
Interested in exploring high-value crops and new farming technologies.

An FPO or farmer cooperative
Looking to create a larger, shared algae farming project for your members.

A rural entrepreneur
Interested in building a new business around algae cultivation and biomass.

A landowner
With suitable space for installing closed-loop photobioreactors.

An institution or organisation
Interested in supporting farmer livelihoods through an algae farming project.
